Insurance & Payment

We believe in transparent, straightforward pricing. Here's everything you need to know about costs and payment options for your care.

Important: We Are a Self-Pay Practice

Triangle Regen Medicine does not accept insurance. All services are paid directly by the patient at the time of service. This allows us to focus entirely on your care without insurance restrictions limiting your treatment options.

Why We're a Self-Pay Practice

Our decision to operate outside the insurance system allows us to provide the highest quality regenerative care without restrictions.

No Insurance Limitations

Insurance companies often deny coverage for regenerative treatments. Without insurance restrictions, we can recommend the treatments that are truly best for you.

More Time With Your Doctor

Without the burden of insurance paperwork and coding requirements, Dr. Buchheit can spend more quality time focused on your diagnosis and treatment plan.

Transparent Pricing

You'll know exactly what your treatment costs upfront. No surprise bills, no confusing insurance statements, no hidden fees.

Faster Access to Care

Without waiting for insurance pre-authorizations, we can often begin your treatment sooner, getting you on the path to healing faster.

Personalized Treatment Plans

Insurance protocols are one-size-fits-all. We create customized treatment plans based on your unique condition, goals, and medical history.

Cutting-Edge Treatments

Many of our advanced regenerative therapies, like the Regenokine® Program, aren't covered by insurance. Self-pay gives you access to the latest innovations.

When Is Payment Due?

Payment is due at the time of service. For multi-session treatment plans, we'll discuss payment arrangements during your consultation. We want to ensure you understand all costs upfront before beginning any treatment.

Common Questions About Payment

Answers to frequently asked questions about our payment policies

While we don't bill insurance directly, you may be able to submit a claim to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We provide a detailed superbill with all necessary procedure codes that you can submit to your insurer. However, most insurance plans do not cover regenerative treatments, so reimbursement is typically limited. We recommend contacting your insurance company to understand your out-of-network benefits before your appointment.

Treatment costs vary depending on your specific condition and the type of therapy recommended. During your $150 consultation, Dr. Buchheit will provide you with a clear, detailed cost estimate for your personalized treatment plan. We believe in complete transparency. You'll know exactly what to expect before making any treatment decisions.

For more extensive treatment plans, we can discuss payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with our staff during your consultation about options that may be available for your specific situation.

That's completely fine. The consultation fee covers your evaluation, and there is no obligation to proceed with treatment. You'll leave with a thorough understanding of your condition and treatment options, which you can consider at your own pace. We're here when you're ready.

Many regenerative medicine treatments are considered "investigational" by insurance companies, despite growing evidence of their effectiveness. Insurance coverage often lags years behind medical advances. Additionally, some treatments like the Regenokine® Program are only available in specialized clinics and fall outside standard insurance protocols. While this may change in the future, currently most regenerative therapies are not covered.

Treatment costs depend on your specific diagnosis and the recommended treatment protocol. While we can provide general ranges for our various treatments, an accurate estimate requires the team at Triangle Regen Medicine and Biologics Center to evaluate your individual case. If you have questions about general pricing, please call our office at 919-752-3051.
