Kathi recently spent 25 days in Greece, and her knee kept up the whole way. She climbed Mamma Mia Cliff and the Acropolis with ease, trekked through castles and ancient ruins, and even ran on the first Olympic field in Olympia.
By the end of the trip she had put 85 miles on her legs, much of it on steep hills and rocky, slippery marble stairs in small harbors.

Mirinda used to love trips to Asheville, but neuropathy and pain in her low back, left leg, and foot left her able to walk only a block or two. Last year she bought an electric wheelchair, thinking it was the only way she'd be able to get around.
She met with Dr. Buchheit and completed twelve sessions of cold laser treatment. A week after finishing, she and her husband went back to Asheville for the true test. She walked all over the hilly town for two and a half days without any pain, and says it felt like being ten years younger.

Laura had been through five surgeries, four on her left foot and one on her right, and lives with degenerative disc disease in her back. After the surgeries on her left foot, she developed neuropathy and a very large, painful Morton's neuroma. Her foot felt like an ice cube at night, and she slept in a cotton sock and a wool sock just to keep it warm.

Today her circulation is better, the color has come back to her foot, and it's no longer cold.
