These recommendations apply to most regenerative treatments
Stop NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin) 5-7 days before treatment unless instructed otherwise.
Drink plenty of water the day before and morning of your procedure for easier blood draw.
Don't fast. A meal with colorful vegetables, olive oil, and protein supports healing.
For lower extremity treatments, having someone drive you home may be helpful.
Avoid strenuous activity. Light walking and normal daily activities are usually fine.
Avoid anti-inflammatories for 2 weeks after treatment. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is okay for discomfort.
Mild soreness or swelling at the injection site is normal and typically resolves in a few days.
Most patients notice improvement within 2-6 weeks as healing progresses.
